they say you don’t realise what you have until it’s gone, and that’s all true and well but i think this is worse. i am fully aware of how great you are, which is only heightening my fear of losing you. i really don’t want to sound melodramatic but the thought of you makes me shine, and i guess i’ve never really shone before. and to lose that feeling just after finding it. that would be worse than never having experienced it at all.
Maybe what they say is true. There are those people you encounter in life whom you never really get over. Even if you meet others who treat you better and love you more, there is always that person you can’t quite completely forget at the back of your mind.
